Highlights

Overview

Mera Peak Climbing is one of the most rewarding high altitude adventures in Nepal, offering a relatively non technical ascent combined with exceptional mountain scenery. Located in the remote Hinku Valley of the Everest region, Mera Peak is ideal for climbers seeking their first 6,000 meter summit while experiencing true Himalayan wilderness.

The route follows quiet trails through forested valleys, high pastures, and glacial terrain, allowing ample time for acclimatization. Although the climb is less technical than other peaks, it requires good physical fitness and endurance due to its altitude. The gradual ascent and well paced itinerary make it achievable for motivated trekkers with basic mountaineering training.
From the summit, climbers are rewarded with one of the finest panoramic views in the Himalayas. Five of the world’s highest peaks Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kangchenjunga can be seen on a clear day. With careful planning and experienced support, Mera Peak Climbing offers a safe and unforgettable high-altitude experience.
